Hall of Shame May Be Set up For Criminals by Jonathan

When i was i saw this caption i was shocked to find such a name mentioned in Nigeria.Hehe.
Hall of shame? Do we still have shame in this country?The crimininals we are talking about seem to be the most celebrated.
 Yes Goodluck Jonathan said this at the Presidential Villa, Abuja when the Legends of Nollywood led by its chairman, Paul Obaziele, conferred on him the Grand Patron of the group.
 He said ,the federal government is considering the establishment of a Hall of Shame to contain names of criminals and social misfits to serve as deterrent to any Nigerian who indulge in criminal activity.source

Bare a week that the All Progressive Congress APC appointed Governor of Rivers state,Rotimi Amechi as 2015 presidential campaign national coordinator,the Peaple's Democratic Party has just announced their 2015 presidential campaign Director in the person of the former PDP's National chairman,Ahmadu Ali.

Elected PDP chairman during the tenure of former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr Ali also served as Nigeria's education minister in the 1970s and was a senator in the Second Republic. He has now been named as the man responsible for handling President Jonathan's re-election campaign in a way that the current high commissioner to the UK, Dr Dalhatu Tafida did in 2011.

Okupe Flaws APC on N21b Jonathan's Campaign Donation

Its has been an issue of attack and counter attack by the major political party's agents in Nigeria.
Doyin Okupe ,the special assistant to the president Goodluck Jonathan on public affairs issued a statement on behalf of the president clearing the air on the APC's condemnation of the campaign donations made for PDP's 2015 electioneering campaigns.

"Even though we have always known them to be a party with no clear directions, we never thought they could descend so low in exhibiting clear mischief and folly on a critical national issue.

The Plateau State governor has appointed his son,Yakubu, commissioner in the state.In a statement issued by Mr. Mohammed Abubakar,the plateau state commissioner for information,Yakubu who was the former special advicer to the Governor on special duties,has been appointed to take over from,Mr. Yilji Gomwalk, the former commissioner for Lands and urban planning .Mr. Yilji Gomwalk was recently picked by his party People's Democratic Party PDP as a running mate toMr. Gyang Pwajok in the next governorship election in the state.

Nigeria:Buhari Supporters in the South Threatened by Ijaws

The Ijaw youths in the southern part of Nigeria have threatened to attack the supporter of the All Progressive Congress APC Presidential candidate in the southern region because it has been reported that the supporters of People's Democratic Party's PDP candidate Goodluck Jonathan are being constantly attacked in the Northern part of Nigeria.
Punch reported that the Ijaw youth spokesperson said thus:
"All Nigerians irrespective of his or her place of origin has a right to contest for the presidency of Nigeria and Nigerians have a right to support any candidate of their choice without molestation.

PDP Recieves N21 billion Donation from Governors and Others

In their fund raising ceremony held in Abuja ahead of 2015 election ,a donation of N21 billion has been realiseby the People's Democratic Party PDP.

Among the donors were the 21 PDP governorswho contributed N1.o5billion.
Punch Newspapers quotes Isa Yuguda, the Bauchi State governor, as saying each of the PDP governors donated N50 million to arrive at N1.05 billion. In several states, including PDP-controlled states like Benue and Akwa Ibom, thousands of civil servants have not been paid salaries; sometimes for up to four months. Mr. Yuguda did not comment on why the governors felt more obliged to donate funds to the party when workers were yet to be paid.
