Pastor Poju Oyemade of Convenant Christian Centre weds-photos

The leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria,AGN has reacted to the news circulating on the internet accusing the body of abandoning its ailing actors to their fate.The accusation started when Muna Ibekwe died of Liver complication and now another actor,Prince James Uche is critically ill.
But reacting to the report in a statement released during the week, the President of the Guild, Ibinabo Fiberesima said, in as much as the Guild would not want to join issues or publicize any assistance offered to its members that it did not abandon the ailing actor. According to her, “We sincerely wish to set the records straight that the Actors Guild of Nigeria did not neglect Prince James Uche. We have done everything humanly possible to assist him.”

President Goodluck Jonathan attended the ongoing crusade organized by the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement at its headquarters in Ijesha , Lagos today.While speaking ,President Jonathan revealed that Boko Haram planned to overrun the whole country and bring down the government.
“The idea of the group was to start from the centre of the country and then move to bring the whole country down,’’ Jonathan said.

Man killed a crocodile that ate his wife

This is pure vengeance from a grieving man who fought against a crocodile that took the life of his wife.
According to Vanguard,Four months ago, Demeteriya Nabire was killed by a crocodile when she went to the lake near her home to fetch water. The animal later came back to the area but found Nabire’s husband waiting, ready to take revenge. Demeteriya Nabire was at the water’s edge with a group of women from her village – they were gathering water from Uganda’s Lake Kyoga when the crocodile grabbed her. It dragged her away and she was never seen again.

Breaking News:2015 February 14 elections postponed by six weeks

Unconfirmed breaking news have shown that the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC has postponed the 2015 presidential and lesgislative elections by two weeks.

Information emerging from the state chapter of the People's Democratic Party,PDP indicates that they have uncovered plans by the Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amechi to sneak out of the state if the All Progressive party,APC fails to will the 2015 election.
This, the PDP argues is cowardly because it proves the outgoing governor as lacking the spirit of sportsmanship which is the hallmark of a good leader and politician.

The kano state government has declared today February 7 a day of coronation of the Emir of Kano,Sanusi O.Sanusi and the presentation of staff to the the Emir.
The Kano State Government said it had concluded arrangements for the coronation and presentation of staff of office to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7.

After five days late Whitney Houston's daughter,Bobbi Kristina Brown was found drowned in a bath thub,she has been in a life support.But the family members have taken a difficult decision by urging the doctors to take her off life support machine when she has been confirmed brain dead.

Nigeria ends funding foriegn trips and trainings of government officials

A directive emerged from the office of the Head of the Civil service commission,Dr Danladi Kifasi instructing all ministries and agencies of government to end the funding of foreign trips and training of government officials henceforth with government funds.
In a statement titled ‘Restrictions on Foreign Trainings and International Travels by Public Servants",it is clearly stated that it is in responsse to the free fall oil crude oil prices in the international market which makes it necessary for a stricter management of government funds.Here is the statement:

APC,PDP clash in Ajegule left 3 dead,20 injured

The supporters of All Progressive Congress,APC and People's Democratic Party,PDP clashed in Ajagunle yesterday leaving 3 people dead while about 20 were injured.
According to an eyewitness account, the crisis started around 3pm when the party supporters accosted hemselves at Ayetoro area of Ajegunle during campaign rallies, leading to a fight.
