The police spokesperson, Abuh Emmanuel, in an interview with journalists at the Nigeria Union of Journalists office, Jos, said, “Unknown gunmen on Sunday in the afternoon opened fire on the Ward Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Mr. Samuel Doro, in Barkin ladi.
“Our personnel rushed the victim to the hospital, but unfortunately, he gave up this morning in the hospital. Police has commenced investigations to unravel those behind the deadly act,” he said.
Meanwhile, family sources said Mr. Doro mentioned the names of his killers before he died early on Monday.
