The former Defence minister has called for the immediate arrest of the leaders of the militant groups in the south ,namely:leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, NDPVF, Mujahid Dokubo-Asari; Victor Ben Ebikabowei, aka, Boy Loaf; and Government Ekpudomenowei, aka, Tompolo ;NEWSWIRE NG reports.
Danjuma made the call in Kano during the commissioning of Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso's multibillion naira Kwakwasiya city.
Reacting to statements by the former militant leaders that there'll be war if President Goodluck Jonathan loses re-election, Danjuma said, ''You should arrest Asari Dokubo, Tompolo, Boyloaf and other Niger Delta militants for making reckless statements, which in any way does not mean keeping Nigeria as one entity and creating war situation''.
He described the statement by the former militant leaders as reckless and capable of causing war.
