Curse was placed on me not to score goals-Emenike

Emmanuel Emenike has spent more than three months in his club without scoring a goal and the Nigerian international and Fenerbahce striker has blamed it on a curse placed on him by those who do not wish him well.

Speaking to Turkish newspaper Milliyet, the powerful frontman conceded that “something is wrong”.
“My energy is not right, something is wrong, I just need a goal to get back to form,” he said.

Emenike reportedly underwent a ritual called ‘Kur_un Dökme’ in a bid to “remove the curse”. Incredibly, the former Spartak Moscow man scored his first league goal since November 2, 2014 after the process.

   He scored the winning goal, as Fenerbahçe beat Karabükspor at Dr. Necmettin Seyhoglu Stadi, to bring his tally to three in the league.
