Novak Djokovic clinches Australian Open title

Novak Djokovic has emerged the winner of Australian open in men category . The world number one made the last two sets count as he powered past his British counterpart 7-6 (7-5) 6-7 (7-4) 6-3 6-0 to emerge victorious.Both players started the game with great determination and hunger, which explains why the first two sets were decided by tie-breaks.
However Murray showed some tiredness in the last two sets and Djokovic went on to win effortlessly.

Murray's capitulation came to the fore after affording Djokovic the opportunity to win 12 of the last 13 games of the match.It is the fifth Australian Open title that Djokovic will be winning which makes him the second man to achieve such feat.

"They tolerate a lot of things from me, on and off the court and put up with a lot from me," said Djokovic about his camp.

"Without my family and closest people this wouldn't be possible and I thank you for supporting me. Last but not least, the fans. A record 733,000 - it's been a record-breaking year in terms of the fans coming to this Australian Open and it's truly one of the most remarkable sport events around the world and I'm honoured to be standing here as a champion for a fifth time and be among an elite group of players."
