Monika Miczura Juhasz, known as Mitsou, claims in a Manhattan civil suit the megastar's track samples a song Juhasz recorded in 1995 with her folk ensemble Ando Drom called "Bajba, Bajba Pélem," as Page Six reports. That album, titled Kaj Phirel o Del?, was released in the United States in 1997 as Gypsy Life on the Road.
Mitsou is reportedly seeking unspecified damages in the rights of publicity case. The suit also demands an end to distribution of the song.
