Court Sacks PDP State Executive in Ondo Loyal to Mimiko

The pleading by the Olu Ogunye- led PDP faction and other aspirants for House of representative in Ondo state has been granted by the Federal High court in Abuja.This came as a result of of the sacking of the executive members of PDP loyal to Governor Olusegun Mimiko in the state.

Those sacked by the court include Mr Clement Faboyode, Messrs Banji Okunowo, Barrister Kunle Olowu and Abayomi Opeoluwa.


The court also ordered the national PDP, its national chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Muazu, national secretary of the PDP, Prof Wale Oladapo, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the inspector general of police (IGP) to relate immediately with the Ondo State PDP executive headed by Dr Ola Ogunye in respect of the conduct of primaries and elections to various offices in the state pending hearing of motion on notice.
