Prince George recieved the highest gift more than any royal in 2014

Prince George recieved the highest gift in 2014

From statistics disclosed on Kensington Palace show ,Prince Charles recieved the highest gift than any other royal personality in 2014.The 18-month-old prince received hundreds of gifts from dignitaries, politicians and members of the public in 2014, eclipsing his parents William and Kate and his great grandmother the Queen.

The weird and wonderful gifts given to all members of the royal family during their official visits last year have been released, including a large wooden coffee grinder and bristle brush boot scraper for the Queen.
But it’s baby George who gets the most attention with 121 items of clothing, 120 books and 219 games and toys from the Australian public in April alone.
He was also inundated with presents including DVDs, coins, clothes and ornaments on his three-week trip to Australia and New Zealand.
More unusual gifts received by the little prince included a pair of sheepskin boots from a commanding officer of the Royal Australian Air Force, a possum skin cloak from the Gundungurra Tribal Council Aboriginal Corporation and a surfing shirt and swimming cap.
Other members of the royal family also collected gifts on his behalf during their overseas visits, making his haul by far the largest of any royal.
This is the first year George has appeared on the gift list because he did not carry out any public engagements in 2013.

His mum Kate received plenty of jewellery on her trip Down Under, including a pair of pearl earrings from the Mayor of Christchurch, a silver and opal brooch from the Governor General of Australia, two necklaces from the National Indigenous Training Academy and a gold and pearl necklace from an unnamed individual.

On their three-day visit to New York in December William and Kate were given four pillow cases from their Carlyle Hotel and a dressing gown for Prince George.
They also collected a miniature academic gown on George’s behalf from the University of St Andrews when they attended a black-tie dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

During his trip to Malta in September Prince William was presented with a handbag, presumably because he was attending on Kate’s behalf while she recovered from severe morning sickness.
Other gifts received by royals included boxes of mangoes from the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Prince Andrew and Princess Anne.

The Duke of York’s presents are likely to receive more attention this year following high-profile allegations he slept with an ‘underage sex slave’ which he denies.
During a trip to Bahrain in January he was given gifts including a decorative metal box by the despot King and his family.
He was also given dates from the Tunisian Embassy and the Saudi Arabian Ambassador.

Whao ! This is truely a royal baby.
